Summer Activities!!

July 18th:  Summer Social, 5-8pm, Rick's on the River

Come enjoy a summer evening with your Sisters! Let's meet for dinner at Rick's on the River, an upbeat spot on the Hillsborough River with a great evening view over the water. Join the group anytime after 5pm - come as you are - families and friends welcome. Live music starts at 6pm. A great way to wind down after work! To extend the fun, you might like to hop on the Pirate Water Taxi and cruise down the river. Ricks is the northern-most stop on the route. Aug 10th:  Back to School/Pound Party, Christine McNamara's

Join us as we celebrate back to school with a pool party at the home of Christine McNamara, 5101 Lady Rose, Ct, Lutz.  We'll also be raising money for our Ways  N Means fund with a Pound Party.  Bring a pound of something to auction off to the highest bidder.  Be sure to wrap it so that we don't know what it is.   More event details coming sure to check the Tampa Alpha Gams page on Facebook for more information.

Aug 24th:  Alpha Gam Always, Heritage Village 10am

Join us to celebrate our Sisterhood and traditions and heritage! In the fall we gather to remember “the good old days” and our years of sorority life - however many there are! We’ll start in the Pinellas Room in the visitors center and after a short welcome from the staff about their mission to preserve Pinellas history we’ll start the self-guided tour of the grounds and the 33 homes and buildings collected there. Return at any time to the cool Pinellas Room for refreshments and socializing and information about this year’s upcoming AGD events.   Alternate GPS address: 11909 125th Street N., Largo, FL 33774

Aug 26th:  St. Pete Alumnae Panhellenic "Meet N Greet"; 5:00pm at Cassis

Come and get to know the wonderful ladies of the St. Pete Alumnae Panhellenic!!  Light Appetizers will be provided.


Sept 6th:  St. Pete Panhellenic - First Friday/Get Downtown; 5pm

This is a fundraising event for the St. Petersburg Panhellenic Scholarship Fund.  Stop by the beer truck on Central Ave between 2nd & 3rd Streets.

Sept 7th:  8:00am Flapjack Fundraiser at Applebees

We are once again teaming up with Applebees in Brandon for a Flapjack fundraiser to benefit Brandon Meals on Wheels and the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation. Tickets will be available soon.  Check back for more information.    

Sept 12th:  Tampa Meals on Wheels Building Dedication

Sept 25th:  St. Pete Panhellenic Scholarship Fundraiser; 6:30pm 

It's BINGO time at Hamburger Mary's (28910 US-19, Clearwater)!  Come on out and support the St. Pete Scholarship Fundraiser.  $10 for 10 rounds of bingo.  There will also be a 50/50 raffle.  Call (727) 400-6996 to reserve your spot at the St. Pete Alumnae Panhellenic Tables.

Oct. 12th:  Noon - Football Watch Party at Beef O Brady's

Bring your friends and join us to watch college football.  Wear your team's gear.  We'll meet  at the Forest Hills Beef O Brady's (8810 Himes Ave).  Order off the menu.  We'll be collecting snack items to send to our adopt a chapter (Gamma Omicron - Eastern Kentucky) at this be sure to bring things like Crackers, Granola bars, microwave popcorn, etc.


Dates Vary:  Sisterhood Brunch/Lunch/Dinner

This month we'll be hosting a bunch of lunches, dinners or brunches all over the Tampa area.  These will be smaller gatherings of sisters to give us the opportunity of getting to know one another in a more casual setting.  You'll be getting a personal invite for the one in your area.  We'll post the dates, times and locations as soon as they become avail.

Nov 2nd:  Clearwater Panhellenic Library Muse Luncheon; 11:30 am 

Join the Clearwater Panhellenic at Alfano's Restaurant.  Genealogy expert Karen Fortin will be the guest speaker.  Cost is $23.  Cash bar.  Choice of entrees:  Chicken Marsala, Eggplant Parmesan or Salmon Piccata.  All meals include a house salad and dessert.  More details to come!


Dec 4th:  TAPA Annual Ornament Exchange; 6:30pm 

Join TAPA at Roux (4205 S MacDill Ave, Tampa) for happy hour in the Absinthe Room.  Please bring a new, wrapped ornament for a "white-elephant" style exchange.  RSVP to by November 29th.

Dec 4th:  St. Pete Alumnae Panhellenic Ornament Exchange; 6:00pm 

At Middle Grounds (10925 Gulf Blvd., Treasure Island).  Order from the menu.  Bring a $10 value gift to exchange.  

Dec 7th:   2nd Annual Holiday Hop with the Central Florida Alumnae Club

Dec 15th, 2:30pm:  Cookies & Cocoa at the home of Tara Prather (Theta Kappa)

Join us at Tara's house (2813 Laurel Leaf Drive, Valrico) for this annual sisterhood gathering.  Bring 2-3 dozen of your favorite cookies and the recipe.  We'll also have an ornament exchange, so be sure to bring a wrapped ornament.


Jan 11th:  St. Pete Panhellenic Fashion Show Brunch; 10am

Join the St. Pete Alumae Panhellenic at Isla Del Sol Country Club (6000 Sun Blvd.) for their annual Fashion Show Brunch.  Tickets are $30.

Feb 22nd@ 11:30 - Panhellenic TRI CITY Luncheon

Join us as Bascom's Chop House (3665 Ulmerton Road, Clearwater) for this popular Annual event.  More details to come.


Mar. 21st:  3rd Annual Triad Luncheon - 11:30, Bahama Breeze

Join us as we gather to celebrate our shared history with the women of Alpha Phi and Gamma Phi Beta.  We were all founded at Syracuse University and together we form the Syracuse Tri-Ad.  Last year's event was so awesome that we've decided to hold it every year!  Come on out and hear about our founding and how closely related we are to our two Panhellenic Sister Organizations.  Order from the menu.

Mar 29th:  Art in Bloom, 11:30.

Join the St. Pete Alumnae Panhellenic at the Museum of Fine Arts (255 Beach Dr. NE).  Lunch will be at the MFA Cafe (order off menu).  Docent lead tour after lunch - $10.


Apr 18th:  International Reunion Day:  11:00am

Red Mesa Restaurant.  Details to come.


May 9th:  St. Pete Alumnae Panhellenic Scholarship Awards Lunch

@400 Beach Seafood and Taphouse (400 Beach Dr. NE, St. Petersburg).  Cost $25.  Garage valet parking around corner or street metered parking.

May 16th: Clearwater Panhellenic Scholarship Awards Brunch; 10am

Join Clearwater Panhellenic at Dunedin Golf Club for the annual Scholarship Awards Brunch.  Cost is $21.  Menu includes Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, Breakfast Potatoes, Fresh Fruit, Cinnamon Buns, Pastries and Strawberry Shortcake Dessert with Juices, Coffee and tea.  More details to come.
